1st Team drop to 2nd in the table.

Wembley welcomed Barnes in week 9, Wembley coming off a great win against Harrow and Barnes losing to Uxbridge. Wembley won the toss as the skipper has for most the season decided to bat first on a hot humid day. Wembley did not get off to the best of starts with Moz being LBW by the same umpire that gave Vibhor out Chest before wicket. Veer and New man Vibhor Yadav steadied the early nerves and put on a 40 run partnership before Veer realised he needed to call his wife and guide one to gully. Then Wembley lost 2 more wickets with not many runs on the board and found themselves 65-4 regular wickets kept falling with no one applying themselves at the crease and going for expansive shots. Vinay Shah was the only batsmen who showed some discipline with his batting but Vibhor Yadav spoke to soon and he was on his way back aswell. Wembley were 138-9 before a 30 run partnership between Chris Blain and Govind Menaria gave Wembley a competitive total to defend

Barnes started well with the bat seeing off the new ball with James Adler and Joe Lukens put on 72 for the first wicket. Wembley turned to their spinners and dividends was paid with Sohil bowling a great delivery that would get any batsmen out and a flurry of quick wickets saw Barnes go from 72-0 to 75-3, Wembley went on to pick up wickets in intervals but the runs were flowing to easily.

Wembley lost by 3 wickets and drop to second in the table.
