Wembley traveled to North London hoping to once again take the points in this usually hard fought away fixture. The game did not disappoint again with a last man partnership being the difference.
Wembley won the toss and decided that batting first, given their line up for the week should set a solid total for the team to defend in the field.
However sods law when you have a full batting line up, it will end up not providing the expected result. North London kept taking wickets on a regular basis and Wembley could not gain any sort of momentum in reaching a respectable total and found themselves at 118-9, with only Vibhor scoring 57 up until this point.
In came the ever present number-11 Vimto of Wembley to join skipper Chirag in the middle. Instructions were simple, stay and don't get out. This is exactly what happened and between the two batsmen they were able to add 42 runs for the last wicket. Wembley finished on 160-10.
In return North London batted the same manner as Wembley and kept loosing wickets on the regular always giving Wembley a sniff of a result.
Once again Vibhor spear-headed the Wembley attack taking 6-56 and dismissing North London for 127, leaving them 33 runs short of their target. The 42 run partnership was the difference between the teams.
