Uxbridge Blown Away

In one of the most important games of the season Wembley had to ensure that they came out on top of league leaders Uxbridge.

The game was never going to be an easy one for either team and the toss was vital as both teams knew they wanted to bat first even with the gusty conditions. Uxbridge won the toss and chose to Bat.

The key man for Uxbridge was Captain and Opener Aman Qadri who has scored 743 runs this season and is leading run scorer in all divisions, however thanks to Vibhor he has only accumulated a grand total of 4 runs against Wembley in 2019. Dismissed in the first over once again Wembley were poised for the threat / depth of the Uxbridge batting line, however the strong winds seemed to blow away the fight and Uxbridge were ripped apart for a mere 46 runs.

Wembley made short work of the run chase scoring 49 in return at the loss of two wickets, with overseas Jonno hit 3 consecutive boundaries to finish the job.
