Having won the toss & elected to bat in an effort to gain 12 points from the fixture, our batters responded reasonably well enabling us to post a useful total of 236 in 50 overs thanks primarily to Haskell (54), and Qamar (73). Thoughts of an early declaration were dispelled; decision justified as we failed to make early inroads despite the best efforts of our bowlers with Marrett (38-3) and Asim (41-2) leading the way.
Both teams pressed hard but in our push for a win the oppo surpassed the winning draw total of 198, their innings eventually closing on 211- 8.

An intriguing game that could have gone either way but in the end we had to settle for 2 points from the draw...
